Professional Photography Speaker & Teacher: Speaking to the Professional Photographers of Akron Ohio
Professional Photography Speaker & Teacher Recently I had the pleasure of speaking the Akron Ohio Professional Photographers organization. Upon landing, I saw this display in the Cleveland Airport: Superman started here (and I have fond memories of reading comic books when I was young and he was my favorite superhero at the time). Upon picking me up, Bob Mihualko kindly gave me a tour of Cleveland:Saw the home of the Browns, Cavaliers and the IndiansDrove across the Bob Hope bridge (his father designed it) and got to see the house where "A Christmas Story" was filmed (Ralphie getting a 22, 1960ish). Complete with the leg lamp. And in Bob's home town of Medina Ohio, got to see Eddie's van from A Christmas Vacation:
On Sunday I gave a full day seminar to a great group of wonderful and talented pro photographers. This included a live photo shoot of a high school senior (ok...she WAS younger than that-but Ali worked out great!). Here are three senior pictures that I took of her during the live hands-on demonstration.
I like doing that as a photography educator and teacher. I show not only posing, but lighting (THE most important element) as well.
Cool Portrait background-looks like real bricks! The following day I had a few hours to kill, so Art (great name for a photographer don't you think?) took me and one of his buddies to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland. I'll show this images next week.
Having got to see images from both "A Christmas Story" and "Christmas Vacation", got me thinking about what is my most favorite Christmas movie. Elf and The Santa Clause I think top my list, how about you???
