Bruce Berg, Oregon Fellow of Photography
I been blessed to have my work featured in over 200 books and magazines and by speaking to over 50 various professional photography organizations all over the world, including WPPI in Las Vegas, PPA Imaging in Arizona, SYNC in Florida and in London England for the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. I photograph all over Oregon and have been commissioned by clients in Washington D.C., San Diego, Maui, New Orleans, Salt Lake, Indiana, Connecticut, L.A., Seattle, Sonoma County, San Francisco, and Oahu.
I really enjoy ALL kinds of people.
Human Beings ARE really interesting. I have photographed rich and famous people and people without a dollar to their name. We are made of the same stuff and we all have dreams, talents, and faults. We all want to love and be loved. Maybe that’s why I love dogs, they are unbridled in their enthusiasm for it.
I always liked this quote: “Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.” Get to know me and you’ll see I’m not normal either.
To me, with the ups and downs of life you HAVE to have a sense of humor. And smile………A lot.
As a 5th generation Oregonian and U of O graduate, I had been married for 35 years (I recently lost my wife, Sherri, unexpectedly) and we have two children whom I adore. I like camping, traveling, snow-skiing, good movies, golf, biblical studies, table games, U of O football (I can get a bit rabid at times) and being with friends and family.
If I had a super power, it would definitely be flying. I mean, how awesome would that be? Second? That I could eat chocolate cookies and pizza and not gain weight. (If only!)
