Bruce began his career selling images to calendars, greeting card and book publishers. World Book Encyclopedia and many travel publications have hired Bruce to create images.

Nikkei Business/Associe Magazine (based in Tokyo, Japan) hired Bruce to take photographs of Army Pvt. Jason Kriger and his injury from the war in Iraq.

Professional Photographer Magazine featured the photograph "Simple Elegance", an image of Natalie Sander's wedding bouquet taken at a gorgeous Portland area vineyard.

This spring, The Register-Guard ran an article featuring several local homes, Bruce's art can be seen in two of those featured homes.
